Our U5 ethos is to introduce families to the sport and to the Club.
U5 means "under 5" - players must be 4 years old by November 1.

Schedule
Games
U5 games are held on Sundays at Lawton Park between 9:00am and 3:00pm. The schedule is released at the end of August/beginning of September.
The fall season lasts 8 weeks, with the first match on the Sunday following Labor Day.
U5 does not have practices. This is an introductory division with strong parent support. Although only coaches are allowed on to the field during play, parents are expected to be present for all U5 MSC events.
Field
All U5 games are played at Lawton Park, uphill from Lawton Elementary at the end of the cul-de-sac on 27th Ave W.
SYSA background checked adults and players may be on the inside of the field. All other spectators that have not undergone training and background checks must be on the outside of the fields (see image). This is for insurance purposes and for player safety.
Coaches
Like our players, many of our U5 coaches are beginners! Our U5 coaches should focus on giving all children equal opportunity to play and make sure that they leave the season with an understanding of game play.
We encourage our U5 coaches to be on the field with the players for games and to be in constant communication with players while maintaining a positive attitude.
