NEW for Fall 2011 Registration:

A) Bonzi, the registration software developer, has changed the login protocol it uses. YOUR NEW USERNAME will be your email address.

PLEASE NOTE!!! Pay attention here!!!! Please begin to register as usual with your old username and password.

WE HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE BONZI SYSTEM'S RECOGNIZING THE OLD PASSWORDS. IT IS LIKELY THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO CLICK THE "FORGOT PASSWORD" OPTION to continue registration, even if you know the password you are using is correct.

Bonzi will issue you a new password through your email. Use this new temporary password and your new login id (which should automatically have been set to be your email name) and continue to login and register as directed.

PLEASE DO NOT CLICK "BECOME A NEW MEMBER" IF YOU ARE A RETURNING MEMBER AND ARE NOT HAVING LUCK SIGNING IN. It will create a new account, unlinked to your previous account, and require you to reenter all of your family information and put your kid in the limbo of "no-birth-certificate" land.

Please call Bonzi's customer support line at 866-726-4131 or email them at support@bonzidev.com if you have any problems. Note that their hours of operation are M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific.

GET STARTED ON THIS EARLY IN CASE YOU HAVE PROBLEMS - the late fees will apply as usual.

B) COACHES PAY ATTENTION HERE!!! Bonzi will now be accessing the Lexus/Nexus system for running background checks on coaches. This system has many benefits over the previous system and allows for a more thorough evaluation. HOWEVER, it will require coaches to enter their Social Security numbers into the system. This system is supposed to be active very soon, so you may sign up as a coach and not yet be asked to enter your social security number. If you are in the middle of your two-year RMA approval (this is the background check done on each coach, and it is good for two years), you may not be asked to submit your Social Security number until next year. If you are up for renewal and have signed up to be a coach before the system is active, we will get back in touch with you as soon as the system becomes active. Even if you've coached before, register online to coach in 2011.


OTHER INFORMATION:

For players age 5-8 (U6 - U9), the cost is $80. This includes a free clinic in August that your child is automatically enrolled in when you register. Registration deadline is July 15 for this age group. There is a $20 late fee charged after July 15th.

For players ages 9-18 (U10 - U19), the registration fee is $100. Registration deadline is July 1 for this age group. There is a $20 late fee charged after July 1.

For new players: Seattle Youth Soccer Association requires us to verify player eligibility through certified birth certificates. A passport is a satisfactory substitute; a hospital birth certificate is not. Please scan and email to magsocclub@yahoo.com. Returning players with a birth certificate on file do NOT need to send birth certificate again.
